Inspired by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour's trip to a Panamanian island called Bahia Honda during the rainy season. He was visiting a scientific research centre located amid the dense jungle studying rare plants and flowers that exist nowhere else in the world. The result is this aquatic green floral, heady with sap and the heat of rainforest vegetation. With creamy notes of magnolia and white orchid, Fleur de Liane captures mysterious forest flowers, dewy and sumptuous, exuding perfumes into the tropical air.

Sun-dappled sensuality in the shade of an extraordinary tree

Premier Figuier was created for l’Artisan Parfumeur by Olivia Giacobetti. Its name (The First Fig Tree) is a reference to its importance as the first perfume composed around a fig theme. There are others now, but Premier Figuier is the benchmark against which all others are measured. Imagine lying beneath a fig tree in the South of France; the air is hot, the scent of green leaves, sap, stalks, woods, sticky fruit. This is Premier Figuier. Almond milk provides an unusual creamy counterpoint to the green and the woods. The fig tree is conjured up in progressively warm and luxurious notes as the fragrance opens up on the skin. From leaves to fruit to sap to branches and the wood of the tree itself. The all-enveloping wood notes in this fragrance make it perfect for both summer and winter wear.
