Privacy Policy
This privacy policy notice applies to information that is collected by Puig Emirates L.L.C, a company registered under CR number 1616797, registered under VAT number 100441198700003 whose head office is at Building 7, Dubai Design District, Dubai, United Arab Emirates and whose paid-up share capital is 300,000 AED (the “Company”) through a computerized device in L’Artisan Parfumer stores located in the United Arab Emirates (the “Stores”). Through use of this device, you will be asked to provide certain information including, but not necessarily limited to, your name, email address, telephone, birthday, anniversary and address (each comprising your “Personal Data”).
Personal Data will also be transferred and shared with, and stored by, other members of PUIG Group, in particular L'Artisan Parfumeur S.A.R.L. located in France, as data controller. Your Personal Data may also be shared with third-party companies that provide, on behalf of the Company, specific services as data Processors, in any case, according to applicable laws and regulations.
Your Personal Data may also be shared with your preferred Brand Ambassador (BA) as selected on the relevant digital card you fill out.
By providing your details on this computer device, you consent to the transfer of your Personal Data overseas and across borders, and from the United Arab Emirates to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. Please note that the laws governing data in your home state or country may differ from those in the countries to which your Personal Data is transferred. By accessing and providing information using this device, you consent to the transfer of your Personal Data in this manner.
How we use your Personal Data
In providing us with your Personal Data you consent to our, and our use of your Personal Data for the following purposes:
- To be able to send you marketing offers in relation with L’Artisan Parfumeur brand such as newsletters and our catalogues;
- To enable us to answer your queries and to inform you of new or changed services;
- To be able to inform you of events which may be of interest to you;
- To be able to manage our commercial relationship with you;
- To be able to analyze your Personal Data to provide you with relevant marketing offers and information;
- To be able to offer products and/or services of PUIG Group according to your interests, PUIG Group may elaborate users’ profile based on the information provided by you and use the information to improve the targeting of advertising campaigns (or create a look-a-like audience).
We will only keep your Personal Data for as long as necessary to carry out our services to you, or as long as we are required by law. Please note that we cannot remove your Personal Data when there is a legal storage requirement, such as bookkeeping rules or when there is a legal ground to keep the Personal Data, such as an on-going contractual relationship.
Other circumstances under which we may share your Personal Data
Although it is our general policy that we do not disclose information that you have provided to us, we do reserve the right to access, preserve and disclose any submitted information or otherwise use information we have received about you: (1) if required for us to respond to a court order, legal process (e.g. a subpoena), or when otherwise required by law or (2) to protect our own legal rights or where such disclosure is necessary for us to defend against any legal claims. We will be final arbiter as to whether this disclosure is necessary for the above reasons.
Your rights
You have the right to request information concerning the Personal Data we store for you, and can request that it be amended or removed at any time. Annually, you also have the right to request written documentation, free of charge, on the personal information we have on you on our account files. - Right to withdraw your consent: You may at any time withdraw the consent you give to the Company for processing your Personal Data. In addition, if you want to stop receiving future marketing messages, communications and materials at any time, you can do so alternatively by clicking the 'unsubscribe' link which is included in all of our email marketing messages.
- Right to access your Personal Data in our possession: You are entitled to obtain, at any time, confirmation from us as to whether or not we are processing your Personal Data and, where that is the case, access such Personal Data.
- Right to have inaccurate Personal Data rectified: You have the right to obtain from us without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate Personal Data that we hold and which concerns you. This includes the right to request that incomplete Personal Data is completed.
- Right to erasure: You have the right to obtain from us the erasure without undue delay of Personal Data that we hold and which concerns you, in the circumstances as provided by Data Protection Legislation.
- Right to restriction of processing: You have the right to restrict the way we process your Personal Data in the circumstances as provided by Data Protection Legislation.
- Right to data portability: You have the right to receive from us your Personal Data which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from us. This right shall include the right to require us to transmit the relevant Personal Data to another controller on your behalf, where technically feasible. This right only applies to personal data : (i) on which we obtained your consent to process; or (ii) which we obtained in order to perform our contractual obligations to you, and in each case to the extent we process your Personal Data by automated means.
- Right to lodge a complaint about us: You are entitled to exercise your right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority, in particular, in the country of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement if you consider that the processing of your Personal Data infringes Data Protection Legislation.
Sharing your Personal Data with third parties
We do not sell your information to third parties. We do, however, share Personal Data with third parties when necessary to fulfill a transaction, complete a service, for administrative purposes, or when required by law. Additionally, we will share your Personal Data if such sharing is required by law or to protect against potential or suspected fraud. Also, if the Company undergoes a merger, corporate reorganization, or all or part of our assets are sold or acquired by another party, your Personal Data may be shared. If you do not want us to share your Personal Data in these manners, please do not provide it to us.
How we protect your Personal Data
We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you understand that any information that you transfer to us is done at your own risk. That said, once we receive your information, we have adopted technical and organizational security measures to help protect your Personal Data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, and against all other reasons for data processing that do not comply with our Privacy Policy.

To provide us with information and consent to process your data, you must be over the legal age according to the personal data regulation applicable in the territory where the data is being collected.
E-mail Opt-out
We periodically communicate with users who subscribe to our services via email. For example, we may send you information about changes to our products or to introduce you to new products. We also send notices that are required by law which generally cannot be opted-out of.
However, we do provide you with the opportunity to exercise an opt-out choice if you do not want to receive other types of communication from us, such as emails or updates from us regarding new products or services. We will process your request to unsubscribe as soon as possible, but please be aware that in some circumstances you may receive a few more messages until such request is processed.
