A blackberry to smell, a blackberry to savour

Some collaborations feel inevitable. The encounter between L’Artisan Parfumeur and Cedric Grolet belongs to that rare category where two creative worlds naturally converge.
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, L’Artisan Parfumeur shines a light on one of its most iconic creations through an exclusive collaboration with world-renowned pastry chef Cedric Grolet. Together, they bring to life a unique sensory experience where fragrance and pastry engage in a dialogue inspired by a shared muse: the blackberry.
Driven by a mutual passion for exceptional craftsmanship, creativity, and the emotions awakened by natural ingredients, both houses share the same vision of creation. One where savoir-faire fuels imagination, where every detail matters, and where emotion guides every gesture.
Named Executive Pastry Chef at Le Meurice in 2012, Cedric Grolet is now recognised as one of the leading figures in contemporary pastry. Honoured with numerous awards, he has developed a distinctive creative universe rooted in excellence, precision and a deep respect for ingredients. His iconic creations, brought to life through his Fruits and Flowers collections, have helped redefine the codes of modern pastry. Each creation becomes an invitation to see differently, to marvel at the precision of the craft and the poetry of illusion.
Mûre & Musc, a Reinvented Icon
To mark this exceptional anniversary, L’Artisan Parfumeur brings back the bottle designed by Pierre Dinand in 1998. Shaped like a blackberry in hand-blown glass, this creation has become a true collector’s item over time.
Today, this iconic silhouette serves as Cedric Grolet’s source of inspiration. Drawn to its generous curves and sculptural character, he finds in it a natural expression of his creative vision. This collaboration reflects the close connection between the arts of perfumery and pastry. Both disciplines shape raw materials with precision, pursue perfect balance, and share the same ambition: to evoke emotion.
For the occasion, Cedric Grolet has created an exclusive trompe-l’œil pastry inspired by the Mûre & Musc Extrême Limited Edition bottle. Sculpted with remarkable precision, this indulgent blackberry extends the fragrance’s universe through a new sensory experience. The bottle’s iconic silhouette is transformed into a dessert, while the intensity of the fruit reveals itself in a new form. Balancing realism and illusion, indulgence and refinement, this creation celebrates the dialogue between two exceptional crafts.

Available in a limited edition and priced at €18, this exclusive creation will be available from 18 to 21 June at Cedric Grolet Le Meurice in Paris, before moving to the L’Artisan Parfumeur pop-up in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Paris, from 22 to 25 June.
