An immersion into the world of L’Artisan Parfumeur
Since 1976, L’Artisan Parfumeur has cultivated a singular approach to fragrance creation. Founded by Jean Laporte, the Maison was among the first to establish perfume as a true medium of expression, where each creation tells a story, evokes an emotion, or celebrates a raw ingredient.
To mark its 50th anniversary, L’Artisan Parfumeur opens the doors to a temporary space in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. From 19 to 28 June, 22 Rue de Seine becomes a meeting point between past, present and future, inviting visitors to rediscover the inspirations that have shaped L’Artisan Parfumeur for the past five decades.

A journey through archives, objects and creations
Designed in collaboration with creative studio PRAGMA, the space moves beyond the conventions of traditional retail to embrace the language of exhibition and set design. Inspired by the concept of the niche, a defining element of L’Artisan Parfumeur’s identity, the visitor journey unfolds through a series of alcoves, each evoking a cabinet of curiosities, a lived-in interior or a creative atelier.
Iconic bottles, archival treasures, raw ingredients and rare objects reveal the story of the Maison through multiple perspectives. Balancing heritage and imagination, some installations draw from its rich history, while others freely reinterpret the stories and inspirations that have nourished its creations for nearly fifty years.
Located on Rue de Seine in Paris, among the renowned art galleries of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the space invites visitors to discover L’Artisan Parfumeur as a creative Maison, where fragrances, objects and memories come together to form a world rich in stories and inspiration.
Exclusive creations to discover
The experience will also provide an opportunity to discover a selection of limited editions created especially for the anniversary. Among them is the collaboration with Cedric Grolet inspired by Mûre & Musc. Drawing inspiration from the historic bottle designed by Pierre Dinand, this trompe-l’œil pastry reinterprets one of the Maison’s most iconic creations. Priced at €18, it will be available at the pop-up from 22 to 25 June.
Fragrance lovers will also be able to rediscover five fragrances that have become increasingly rare over the years. Exceptionally reissued and presented through an exclusive perfume fountain experience, Bucoliques de Provence, Caligna, Violaceum, Couleur Vanille and L’Eau du Navigateur will return for a limited time, priced at €195.

Played at the heart of the Hors Les Murs pop-up, it extends the experience and invites you to explore the universe through the spaces, creations, and inspirations that have shaped its history.
