Its name is thought to be a distortion of the term “wild strawberry”. This delicious fruit, made up of around forty tiny carpels filled with juicy pulp, is covered in microscopic hairs. The velvety appearance of the fruit is reflected in the extract invented by the perfumer, as the fruit has no smell. A soft, sweet flavour with a hint of acidity.
