Vanilla Planifolia

Amber/Round/Warm

The daughter of an orchid native to Mexico, Vanilla planifolia was revered by the Incas. It eventually found its paradise on the island continent of Madagascar. The hand-pollinated flower gives birth to a fleshy pod that has to dry for several weeks to develop its warm, smooth, woody, smoky, cocoa-like aroma.
