This cereal was first cultivated in the south of what is now Turkey around 10,000 years ago. Its sweet, green fragrance, with an almost dried-fruit tone and a few watery impressions, could not leave the perfumer's nose indifferent. The soft wheat extract he uses evokes the scorching heat of summer and the fumes of hot hay.
