Francs Bourgeois

19 rue des Francs Bourgeois, 4eme Paris
Opening date:  2019

This narrow lane is one of the most popular streets in the Marais, connecting Rue Rambuteau to Place des Vosges. In the Middle Ages, part of this street was called Rue des Poulies because of the pulleys used here by the local weavers. Today, the squares tucked away in these charming streets make it a gallivanter’s paradise, while aficionados of perfume and beauty enjoy the flourishing selection of shops in the area.

Signature scent: Histoire d'Orangers. A shimmering, radiant fragrance pulsating with freshness — just like this neighbourhood vibrating to the collective pulse of its many visitors.

Saint Honoré

Addresse : 209 rue Saint Honoré, 1er Paris
Opening date :  2020

In the 19th century just after the Revolution, this shop was the home and office of Doctor Joseph-Ignace Guillotin. A great humanist, Guillotin was one of the main drafters of the "Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen". He died there in 1814, having narrowly escaped the machine that unjustly bears his name.
This boutique, which is reminiscent of brand founder Jean Laporte’s original atelier, pays homage to his values.

Signature scent: L'Eau d'Ambre. Amber was a note that founder Jean Laporte adored. This perfume was one of his first creations, a sumptuous marriage of balmy notes with vanilla, patchouli, tonka beans, benzoin and incense.

Racine, Balzac, George Sand, Musset, Verlaine, Rimbaud, Anatole France, Delacroix, Manet — writers, poets, playwrights and painters have long settled in the legendary district of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. It became the favoured meeting place of the artistic scene. Even during the curfews of the Second World War, its cafés were important hideaways for meetings and intrigue in the capital.

Signature scent: Patchouli Patch, the emblematic scent of bohemia, conjures the many artists who have lived, worked and loved in Saint Germain, bringing its provocative literary and artistic soul to life.
