True to its pioneering spirit, L'Artisan Parfumeur translates botanical treasures into precious fragrances.​

L'Artisan Parfumeur’s large botanical collection is largely due to its founder’s botanical training. From the very beginning of his perfume adventure, Jean Laporte’s scientific background informed his beloved botanical world. 

When creating Mûre et Musc, the first fragrance to glorify a blackberry, he already knew that perfume would be his life's work. ​

And so it was that nature was the verdant vehicle he chose for his journey to perfume heaven. As a tribute to this heritage, perfumer Daphné Bugey has set this journey to music in a collection of seven chapters: Abyssae, Arcana Rosa, Mirabilis, Obscuratio, Crepusculum Mirabile, Venenum and Tenebrae.

An ode to nature that evolves as the gates of night gradually open and the mysteries of the nocturnal world appear. In this dreamlike world of wanderlust, flora and fauna greet one other as friends and the mystical rubs shoulders with the real.​
