Liquorice
Glycyrrhiza Glabra
Amber/Round/Warm
The Greeks named it glycyrrhiza, from the words “glukos” (sugar) and “riza” (root). It is indeed in the roots of this Mediterranean plant that its delicious juice is hidden. By grinding them into powder and distilling them, we obtain a sweet, aromatic extract similar to a liquorice stick.
