Neroli

Its delicate name was given to it in the 17th century by Marie-anne de La Trémoille, Princess of Nerola, who used to perfume her bath and gloves with this essence. “Neroli” is the essential oil of the flower of the bitter orange tree, the perfumer's favourite tree, to which he offers its leaves, flowers and fruit. From time immemorial, neroli has been the hallmark of eaux de Cologne, giving them a noble simplicity.
